Ellen Hudak is our Social Worker/Case Manager.  She has been a school social worker with North Hanover School District since September of 2014 and was also with the Tinton Falls School District for 5 years.  Prior to working in the school setting, I have had several years experience working in Early Intervention as both a Service Coordinator in both New York City and New Jersey as well as a Social Worker and Developmental Interventionist in New Jersey.   I currently hold my School Social Work Certification as well as a certification in the state of New Jersey. I have my  Master's Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Families and Children.  I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.  I am a member of the National Honor Society of Social Work and a member of the New Jersey School Social Work Association.  Part of my experiences within the school district is to work with the Intervention & Referral Service (I&RS) Committee, case manage, complete social histories as well as working collaboratively with teachers and administration to help students achieve academic success.  I look forward to working as a team with the teachers, families, students and administration in New Hanover.  Please do not hesitate to contact me should a need ever arise. You may contact Ellen at (609) 723-2139 x109 or ehudak@newhanover.k12.nj.us. Jayne Rigg is our learning disabilities teacher consultant (LDT/C) and case manager.  This is the start of her 18th year in education and has been with the district since September 2015.  She has worked in both the Township of Bloomfield and the Township of Orange as a general education teacher, special education teacher, and as an LDTC/case manager for children from preschool to 8th grade.  She graduated with her Learning Disability Teacher’s Consultant certification in 2012.  She also has a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science.  Jayne has worked on the Intervention & Referral Service (I&RS) Committee and is looking forward to consulting with classroom teachers, administrators and parents regarding special instructional methods and/or materials necessary to meet the specific needs of individual pupils at New Hanover School District.  You may contact Jayne Rigg at (609) 723-2139 x109 or via  email at jrigg@newhanover.k12.nj.us.
 
Megan Thompson is our school psychologist and case manager.  She has been a school pychologist with North Hanover School District since she graduated with her school psychologist certification in 2009.  She also has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  Megan worked as case manager at C.B. Lamb up until the beginning of this school year.  Since entering the district, Megan has worked on the Intervention & Referral Service (I&RS) Committee, served as district representative of the Burlington County Crisis Response Team, served on the School Safety Committee and School Assembly Committee, as well as counseling special education students at Lamb and UES.  She looks forward to collaborating with new teachers/team members at New Hanover School District and assisting students in reaching academic success.  You may contact Megan Thompson at (609) 723-2139 x109 or via email at mthompson@newhanover.k12.nj.us.
 
 
Our Speech - Language Specialist is Tami Kokot. Mrs. Kokot works diligently with our teaching staff to ensure that our students who require speech and language services are making good, academic progress. She also provides the speech and language evaluations for the district as needed. Marla Kennedy  continues to provide occupational therapy to those students who qualify for services as per their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).  You may contact Marla at angelrae40@hotmail.com.

Physical Therapy services are contracted through North Hanover for students who are eligible for services as per their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
